I have always been passionate about animals and their well-being.  I wanted to be a veterinarian as a child but life took me in another direction and I had my children first.  I then got the opportunity to go back to school so I decided to take the veterinary assistant program through Sprott Shaw College and graduated in 2022.  I did my practicum at Central Animal Hospital and then got a job offer with them shortly after.    I'm so lucky to be working here with such an amazing team everyone is so wonderful and supportive of one another and we all truly care for each other.   Becoming a veterinary assistant has allowed me to combine that passion with my desire to make a difference. 

When I am not at working, I am super busy being a mom to my two kids, taking them to their activities and spending time with my family.  We love to mostly spend our time outdoors biking, hiking,  going to the parks or to the beach.
