I joined the Central team when I moved to Kamloops in 2021, but I stepped away after a year to focus on my RMT career and I rejoined the team part-time in 2024. When offered to return to this awesome team, I couldn’t say no!

I chose the veterinary field because I love animals, always have. I used to go door to door to raise money for my local humane society every year from the age of 8 until about 15. I have worked in the healthcare sector previously but working in veterinary medicine seemed really interesting! 
 
What I love most about my job are all the animals I get to encounter and take photos of. I also love all the fundraising initiatives we launch to help animals in need and finally, I love the team. Everyone cares deeply for our patients and is supportive of each other. It is a beautiful thing to see people work hard and come together with the same goal and passion of animal care. 

In my spare time, I run my own business as a massage therapist and reflexologist which keeps me busy. Otherwise, I enjoy biking, hiking, paddleboarding and yoga. 

My pets include: Stella Stardust, DSH Tuxedo - 10 years old
